BAND MEMBERS:

SANDY ISRAEL - BANJO & VOCALS
Sandy Israel is the visionary and spokesperson behind CITIGRASS. A top banjo innovator and teacher, Sandy set out to create a hot musical blend of bluegrass & rock with an urban twist; possessing an eye for talent he hand picked the members in the group. His intention from the start has been to innovate, cultivate and brand the band by forming a new genre "urban bluegrass."


KENJI BUNCH- FIDDLE, VIOLA & VOCALS
Kenji Bunch is a Juilliard-trained concert violist and is among the most prominent American composers of his generation. Kenji's music is consistently performed worldwide in prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center; an extremely versatile performer/artist, Kenji's music has been broadcast worldwide. He's worked and performed with Paul McCartney, Prince, The Who, Aretha Franklin, Bobby McFerrin, Ornette Coleman and a host of others. An extremely versatile performer, Kenji can be also be seen frequently in classical concerts and Broadway shows and has been hand-picked by Mark O'Connor as teacher at his Fiddle Camp in Nashville.



NOAH CHASE - LEAD VOCALS, MANDOLIN & GUITAR
Noah has lived a life populated by artists, musicians and performers. His style combines folk, roots rock with a hint of Mediterranean flavor. Throughout his career he has always been a trailblazer working with heavyweights Perry Farrell, Bruce Hornsby and Shawn Colvin. Noah co-wrote the Grammy nominated album "Hearing Voices" with New Age artist Will Ackerman. He also fronts the rock band Soulfarm as guitarist and lead vocalist and has played and sang with many artists on many recordings.



TIM KIAH - UPRIGHT BASS, VOCALS
Tim is a multi-genre veteran of the bass who has assisted jazz greats Ravi Coltrane, Ron Carter and Jazz Passengers' founders Roy Nathan and Bill Ware. Tim began his musical journey with the Boston Boys Choir. Recently Tim has had the pleasure of working with Platinum recording artist Lenny Kravitz on his last album "Baptism," concurrently scoring the Multimedia dance project, "The Oddyssey."



JAMES KERR - DOBRO, GUITAR, VOCALS
James’s musical roots lie in Louisiana Delta Blues. James is a talented songwriter and a force in acoustic music, and is the youngest living member of NAARP. He studied at Michigan and Columbia Universities. He prides himself on being a diverse performer.
