"The FPCN School holds an annual fundraising event, attended by 150-200 people, which includes a silent and live auction. It has been traditional to have live music at the event; for many years this was a jazz combo. In the spring of 2001, we had the delightful experience of bidding to the upbeat sounds of "Citigrass." The lively bluegrass music, performed by virtuoso musicians, gave the whole evening a boost and made everyone feel happy and eager to participate. It was not intrusive or loud-it was lively and engaging. The proceeds of that night exceeded those of any previous event. We would happily have Citigrass play at another school fundraiser; in fact, we are hoping to have them again this year."
